The Garmin trucker’s GPS is a very good product from my experience. older models were good but every once in a while it would send you down a road that you shouldn’t go down. As technology got better that didn’t happen as much. Today with the one I use it will tell me ahead of time about a low bridge or a restricted route which is very helpful to a truck driver so you don’t end up on a road you shouldn’t be on.
Another nice feature on the Garmin is that it will let you know if the speed limit is changing. So you can make adjustments. It also will let you know about a downgrade comping up or if the road is going to be curving. All of this is helpful so you can prepare for it before you come up on the situation.
The Garmin GPS that I have used has a feature of what is up ahead. It will tell you how close a truck stop is for getting fuel. Also it will tell you the closest truck parking and restaurants are. You can also set the GPS for cars or trucks.
Some of the models from Garmin have a dash cam. So you can record in the event of and accident. In my opinion the Garmin GPS is a very good product.
